The Jeffrey James Show’s Top 5 Performances of 2017

#1 California WorldFest was a dream. I’m still at a loss for words after being featured on the same page as my favorite artist of all time, Michael Franti. We rocked two sets with our band from Hawaii, featuring Tianna Malone Jennings, Erik Avery, Christopher McNinch, EmiLove, and Riconeckt. I also had a blast performing…

Hawaiian Island Adventures

The twelve hour time change from Ljubljana, Slovenia to Honolulu was a trip. In a span of eight days I was in Ljubljana, Venice, Amsterdam, Dallas, Minneapolis, Madison, Chicago, and Honolulu. It was special singing at my childhood friend’s wedding on the East Shore of Oahu. I got to reconnect with a few friends from…

The Best Party of our Lives

Whew, where to begin. Kaahele and I agreed Sommer Gönnung was the best party of our lives. It all went down in SONNENPARK. A beautiful green space on the outskirts of Sankt Pölten, Austria. The cement buildings were recently saved by the citizens of Sankt Pölten. The land remains a creative community space instead of…

Swirling through Central Europe

It’s true, in the last week I’ve worked harder, traveled further, and partied harder than ever before. I met amazing souls from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Columbia, Germany, and Ireland. I’ve played music in hostels, in front of castles and canals, at bus stops, in smoky apartments, and even at the Berlin Wall. Prague was crazy….

Berlin: Amidst The Steeples. . .

It’s been a week full of adventures, long car drives, and spectacular shows. The Milwaukee show at Circle A Cafe was really special. There was so much talent there between Good Morning Bedlam and Rocket Paloma. A very special thank you to Max Mainwood, it was an honor to have him sit in on cello…

Monona Water Walk and tour sendoff

The Healing Energies Tour has been very powerful in building community, inspiring personal growth & change, and sharing stories through music. I was honored to take part in the 4th Annual Monona Water Walk last Friday and it was powerful to hear Native American Elders speak. I was deeply moved by Ojibwe Elder Joe Rose’s speech….
